Megumi uses his spatula to divide the two fried eggwhites that had tried to mold their way into one, scooping them onto the waiting slices of toast. ]
You're probably gonna have to tell him that yourself, unless he's already on some assignment. [ Megumi wouldn't be surprised if Gojo wants to do Something for Yuji's birthday – or just tries to wrangle everyone together to go out and celebrate.
Turning off the stove, Megumi brings both plates to Yuji, plopping down in the seat beside him at the countertop. ]
[ Megumi is caught by surprise with the quick kiss, leaving him with a lingering smile as he settles next to Yuji, close enough their shoulders bump together. ]
It's not much, but. [ He shrugs. ] We can do something else next year, if you want.
[ Megumi nods without having to give the request any thought. ]
Sure. [ He munches contentedly, speaking between bites. ]
I planned for that much. [ But this is kind of the tail-end of the celebration prep that he managed to come up with. He doesn't have experience making people feel important on their birthdays, so a cake and breakfast is the extent of what he could come up with for "ways to make his boyfriend feel loved today." ]
Sounds good to me. [ Megumi is less of a Movie Guy than Yuji or Gojo, but he likes them well enough – he just likes that Yuji gets so into everything. ]
We can look for something to stream – unless you've got a DVD we haven't made it to yet.
[ Megumi polishes off his toast, giving a shrug. ]
We can watch Human Earthworm, if you want. It's your birthday, so you get to pick.
