[ It feels less romantic to Yuji if only because he knows his lifespan has an expiration date - he hasn't told anyone here about it, not willing to risk the wrath of the elders or for someone to figure out just what is inside of him. It's too dangerous, and with Sukuna feeling dormant, it wasn't as much of a problem in the long run. What he wants is to spend his life with Nanami, but he knows the truth: Nanami dies sooner than he should and Yuji will be executed.

It makes him feel a deep well of sadness, suddenly, leaning in to kiss Nanami again, to push his tongue into the other boy's mouth and give him everything that he can. He might not have much to his name, an orphan with no family and no technique, but he has his heart and his soul, and both of them can be Nanami's. Both of them have been his for months, the other just didn't know about it yet.

All of this is really so very perfect, and Yuji rocks his hips forward against Nanami's, stroking a hand against his cheek before he breathes out softly. ]

I'll look for you. I know that. No matter what life I lead or what world I'm in, I'll find you.

[ The statement has a ring of truth in it - because it is true. When Yuji had awoken here in the past and seen Gojo-sensei as he is now, the first thing he had wanted was to find Nanami. The idea of going back to a future without him is agonising. ]
